2015: Trends for the Coming Year

Are you excited about the new trends that 2015 will hold? We definitely are! Here are a few in vogue styles to keep in mind for this upcoming year.

Engagement Rings

White gold rings were a huge trend since 2000 – now some ladies are starting to realize white metal is not the only metal available on the market. We are seeing more bridestobe embracing the warm rose gold tones for their engagement ring choices and redesigns. Noam Carver and Jeff Cooper are both designing to this trend, and as inhouse jewellery designers, we can help you create something unique and oneofakind.

Wedding Jewellery

The Pantone colors for 2015 will be natural and airy. Lavender herb, treetop, strawberry ice, aquamarine and the feature color of the year Marsala, will keep the wedding trend in the casual or rustic theme. Wedding gowns will be focused on off the shoulder cuts which allow a bride to wear a wide array of stunning necklaces.

Classic white Akoya pearls are always the time-honoured choice but adding a black/gray contrast of South sea Tahitian pearls can create a dramatic impression. Blue, lavender or pink colored sapphires, Spessartine orange and almandine red garnets, and watery aquamarines will follow the color pallet for the season and add a splash of color to your big day.

Every day wear

Two new exciting brands have come into the spotlight; each with their own creative take on bracelets and bangles. “Endless” featuring designs by JLo gives you vibrant selfexpression, with colored leather wraps you can customize with charms that suit your style. Wearable positive energy is now available in Canada with the Alex and Ani stacking bangles line. First arriving in the US where they are hand crafted, they are now available north of their border. Their (+) Energy line is created from recycled materials, featuring symbols which celebrate important elements of your life and each bangle is created with positive energy and intention for the wearer.

But what to do with past styles?

Unlike clothing which goes out of style; fine jewellery can be reused and reborn. The stones can be placed in a new and current design, giving new life to tired trends or inherited pieces which don’t reflect your personal tastes or expression. As professional jewellery designers, we work with you every step of the way; ensuring your vision, budget and lifestyle are all taken into consideration when creating custom jewellery just for you.
